SUPPORT US

COMMON GOAL

It has been an incredible journey so far and very encouraging to see so many people beginning to feel loved and included in our local & neighbouring communities. In the past eight years, hundreds of people have benefited in some way through our projects; we want to continue seeing people who are in desperate situations being given the hope that they need to feel empowered to take a hold of their future and to make it the best one possible.

We are constantly searching for new ways to improve and facilitate the projects and services that we are able to provide. We are thankful for the support of a number of like-minded local organisations but in order for the charity to keep progressing we are always in need of others to catch hold of our vision and join us.

There are many aspects to the work that we do and they all require different skills to make them happen as effectively as possible. So, if you are considering getting involved with Acts 4 Sharing don't hesitate, there are various ways that you can choose to support us.

If you could give a few hours each week or even every now and then please keep reading.

Pray

PLEASE PRAY FOR US

At Acts 4 Sharing we believe in the power of prayer and aim to pray about all aspects of our work; it would be great if you could join with us in praying for all that we do. The best way for you to stay updated is to get in touch and ask to receive our regular newsletter.

Volunteer

VOLUNTEERS - We need you!

To enable our projects to continue and be effective needs a lot of people power. Volunteers are involved at every level of the organisation in roles which complement, but don't substitute, the work of paid staff.

Acts 4 Sharing has many different aspects needing many different skills; trustees, fundraisers, administrators, skill sharers, team leaders, Hope HQ toast and TEAMakers, DIYers, drivers, ‘lifters & shifters’, aid sorters, washers and menders.

Volunteers assisting Acts 4 Sharing are asked to sign a Volunteer Agreement. This is not intended to be a legally binding contract but expresses a voluntary two-way commitment which will hopefully result in a rewarding experience for all involved.

For more info you can request our volunteer handbook and policy.

If you could give a few hours each week or even every now and then please get in touch to find out more.

Fundraise

FUNDRAISING

Acts 4 Sharing currently costs £80 - £85 per day to keep us running; more will be needed to enable us to reach our full potential. Can you help us to raise the extra funds that we need to impact more lives?

Fundraising can be as simple as a coffee morning or a car boot sale...or if you're the more adventurous sort then jumping out of a plane and doing a skydive or doing a Tough-Mudder with some friends may be a great way to do some fundraising!

If you are interested in supporting us in this way please get in touch to receive your fundraising pack.
